
The police have apprehended several suspects. They detained 25 individuals with illicit drugs in various regions of Nepal during routine patrols. This information was shared by the Central Police News Room.
During these operations, officers made arrests in multiple areas, uncovering notable items in possession of those taken in. They confiscated brown heroin, marijuana, and nitrazepam, the latter being a controlled medication that requires a prescription.
In Lalitpur Metropolitan City-4, law enforcement reported making two arrests in Nakkhu Dobato, along with another capture in Chambas, located within Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 in Dhading.
The arrests spanned various locations. In Siraha Municipality-21, two individuals were detained at Pipra Tole. Meanwhile, four were apprehended at Khotang Hotel in the Mamachowk area of Damak Municipality-1 in Jhapa. Additionally, two further arrests took place in Bodebarsain Municipality-5 in Saptari.
Further arrests were also made across several other sites.
In Bardiya, two individuals were picked up from Jamuni Bazaar in Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-2. In Morang, three suspects were taken into custody on Alka Marg, Biratnagar Metropolitan City-11.
In separate incidents, police detained one person in Nadipur, within Pokhara Metropolitan City-3, Kaski, and another at Amaha Chowk in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Sunsari.
Recently, police conducted further arrests throughout the nation. In Sunsari, three individuals were apprehended from Nayabasti in Barahachhetra Municipality-3. In Makwanpur, two were detained from Sagarpath in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11. Additionally, two others were arrested in Birendranagar Municipality-11 in Surkhet. These actions were taken in line with ongoing efforts to uphold law and order in the region.
Officers noted that these arrests occurred during their standard patrols, and they are now investigating each incident
