Nepal defeats UAE to win the ACC Men’s Premier Cup in 2026.

In the final match at the Bayuemas Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Nepal defeated United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 44 runs to win the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026.
Gulsan Jha scored 52 runs in 38 balls while Aasif Sheik scored 102 in 106 balls, setting a challenging target of 314 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee scored 18 runs in 18 balls, Ishan Pandey scored 13 in 20 balls, Rohit Paudel scored 40 in 44 balls, Sundeep Jora scored 7 in 5 balls, and Karan KC scored 1 in 2 balls. But Basir Ahamad used just four balls to score an undefeated 15 runs. Lalit Rajbanshi played one ball and tallied one run to the scoreboard.
The UAE batting line went all out to score 269 runs in 49.1 overs while chasing Nepal’s target of 314 runs. Sohaib Khan scored 52 runs in 57 balls, while Rahul Chopra scored an undefeated century. In addition, Tanish Suri scored 42 runs in 28 balls, Adeeb Usmani scored 6 in 10 balls, Captain Harpreet Singh scored 33 in 41 balls, Aayan Afzal Khan scored 9 in 19 balls, Khuzaima Tanveer scored 15 in 18 balls, and Ibrar Ahmad scored 1 in 2 balls.
After collecting 17 wickets during the competition, Aasif Sheik was named player of the match, and Sandeep Lamichhane, the captain of Nepal, was named player of the series.
