Different areas across Nepal have experienced telecom service problems with Nepal Telecom due to heavy rain, strong winds, floods, and landslides.
Nepal Telecom reports these issues started on September 24. The constant rain and landslides have damaged fiber optic cables and made it hard for repair teams to reach problem areas.
Power outages and reduced solar panel performance from rain, snow, and cloudy weather have also affected telecom services.
Nepal Telecom says they are doing repairs that can be done from a distance and their teams are ready to visit affected areas once the weather gets better.
