Wolves Esports won the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) Season 2 championship in Pakistan, while Nepal’s Horaa Esports finished fourth after a close call in the grand finals.

Horaa entered the second day of finals with 57 points, including one Chicken Dinner, from six matches played on Saturday. Unfortunately, they couldn’t maintain their momentum to secure the championship.

Wolves clinched the title by winning the 12th match.

Horaa’s Missed Opportunity

Horaa started Sunday’s matches in a strong position. However, the final day’s format meant they couldn’t guarantee a win based on points from the first day.

The tournament required teams to reach 67 points after the first six matches to qualify. This made it essential for teams to win their next match.

Horaa reached the required points but struggled to secure another Chicken Dinner, narrowly missing out in the 11th match against Brazil’s INFLUENCE RAGE.

This left Horaa in a tough spot heading into the last match.

Wolves Claim Championship in Match 12

Wolves Esports reached the Match Point threshold in the 11th match.

They then triumphed in Match 12, securing the vital Chicken Dinner and winning the PUBG Mobile Global Open title.

The final match was competitive, with multiple teams reaching the Match Point line, but Wolves ultimately secured the last Chicken Dinner.

Horaa Finishes Fourth

Though Horaa didn’t win the title, they performed well in the international tournament. They started strong on the first day and were among the top contenders for the title.

This achievement means Nepal placed fourth in a major international PUBG Mobile esports event.

T2K Esports did not fare as well as Horaa, getting eliminated in the Survival Stage.

$500,000 Prize Pool at PMGO Season 2

The PUBG Mobile Global Open Season 2 was held in Lahore, Pakistan, from October 20 to 25, 2026, featuring 32 teams that qualified from regional events.

The tournament boasted a total prize pool of $500,000. Teams competed through the group stage, survival stage, and grand finals.

Horaa’s fourth-place finish is commendable, especially after leading on the first day, but Wolves emerged victorious at a critical moment.
