
Residents living along the banks of the Narayani River have been relocated to safer areas following flooding caused by incessant rainfall since last Thursday.  Â
Mayor of Gaindakot Municipality, Madan Bhakta Adhikari, stated that residents living near the river have been moved to safer locations. Wards 2, 5, 6, 7, and 9 of Gaindakot fall within the riverbank zone.
Ward Chairperson of Gaindakot-2, Prakash Sapkota, reported that residents of the Gaindakot Pulchowk area have been moved to higher ground and that information is being disseminated via public communications systems along the riverbank. (RSS)
